Step Forward is launching a brand new service aimed to help tackle bullying in Tower Hamlets.

From Monday 17th of November 2008 we will providing a helpline service for young people who are affected by bullying. The helpline will run between 3.30 and 6pm weekdays. Young people are their parents or carers who call us will be able to get confidential information and support by speaking to a member of our team.

Step Forward is working in partnership with Tower Hamlets to provide the helpline. We hope that this will provide greater support to those young people who are being bullied as well as help target specific anti-bullying work in schools, youth clubs etc

So, if you are a young person who wants to talk to us about bullying then please call on 0800 1216 753. The calls are free if you call from a home phone but your mobile phone provider will charge you if you call from a mobile. If you want to give us your number then we can call you back.

Please remember if you can't get through to us on your first try then please call again as we may have been busy answering calls from other young person who wanted to talk to us.
